About Fetch
"The worlds of traditional broadcast TV and OTT services have collided, driven by consumers’ insatiable appetite for more and varied content. As a master aggregator, Fetch is focused on constantly expanding our content offering and on delivering a truly integrated user experience. The partnership with Metrological enhances our ability to do both and provides a clear path for servicing the long tail of great content now available." - Scott Lorson, CEO of Fetch TV
LightningTM
Metrological offers content providers access to the open Lightning Software Development Kit (SDK) for quick app development, with a single app build facilitating distribution to a global footprint of operators. Fetch also utilizes the Lightning Framework to enhance the performance of the Fetch user interface. The framework uses WebGL for rendering and is full of smart optimizations to get the most out of the devices’ GPU and CPU. This accelerates rendering the UI, resulting in noticeably smoother transitions and animations.
"Metrological has developed market-leading technology and is clearly positioned as the world’s leading cloud-based TV application platform. Fetch is thrilled to join leading Tier 1 operators, like Comcast, Liberty Global, and Vodafone, in embracing the Metrological platform." - Scott Lorson, CEO of Fetch TV

Fetch has deployed the Metrological Application Platform on its existing service in Australia and has secured rights for the New Zealand market. Fetch is working with Metrological and its partners to expand the portfolio of local and international apps, to be available for Metrological’s global footprint of operators.
